Five easy steps to get your trainee studying
Before you start make sure as an Employer that you have signed up your trainee and service/centre with the Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (GTNT).

contact us and we'll get back to you by the next working day.
Step 1 Have all your documents together for the Trainee
To complete the registration online you will need to have the following documentation/evidence for your Trainee.
Step 2 Complete the application form
Once you have all the documentation ready to upload go straight to completing the application form to apply to enrol. It will advise the Trainee if submitted correctly.
Step 3 Trainee Enrolment Interview
Once we receive the enrolment application we'll get in touch with both the Centre and the Trainee to book in an enrolment interview at a suitable time. (Face to face or through Zoom)
This gives us an opportunity to go over the course in more detail and answer all your questions
It's also a great chance for you to meet our trainers!
You will hear back within 1-2 days of the interview if your application has been successful.
Trainee Login to student portal
Once the Trainee has completed the interview successfully and traineeship approved by AASN an invite will be sent to the Trainee to Login to the Learners App to get started in studying. We will also contact the Centre/Service to confirm who their Workplace Supervisor will be and best contacts.
The Learners App/Student Portal is the single point of access for everything throughout the course. This is where they will find all the learner guides and resources, presentation videos, assessments, grades and much more
Trainees can start anytime
Trainees can start anytime as there are no classes. We focus on a workplace training methodology to support Trainee's on the job combining theory and practice to support Trainees gain knowledge, experience and skills that their workplaces are looking for. For theory/knowledge learning Trainees can access the App to read and watch all the terrific specially developed and chosen learning materials for Trainees here in the Northern Territory.
