About us

We are Northern Territory based and very much a part of the NT Early Learning Community. We are emotionally invested in seeing every child and family have access to a knowledgeable, skilled and ethical Educator, Teacher or Carer who can give them the best start in life. We are focused on training and supporting Educators, Teachers and Carers to provide high quality education and care. This is the purpose of our staff team to support our learning communities. We respect, inspire and support each other to take opportunities to build on the success of traditional, remote and online learning models to create a new mix, a hybrid approach that enables every student to achieve their goals and become the best version of their educator/teacher self.

We believe in social justice and that learning communities can help to reduce negative social norms and stereo types, and the importance of supporting people to manage their social and emotional wellbeing. We are dedicated advocates for the sector, and the Pandemic bought a paradigm shift to our thinking it didn’t happen straight away but we started questioning why we love what we're doing and how we can do more. Its a long path but we are getting started.

What's important to us is our families, children and young people. Helping people to grow and using our teams skills in training, facilitating, coaching, counselling, collaboration and creativity for the best interests of children, young people and those who are educating, teaching and caring for them.

AUDREY WEE

 Training Coordinator

Before working in a Training Organisation I had been in the early childhood industry for over 10 years. I completed my Bachelor of Early Childhood Education through University of Queensland Technology (QUT) in Brisbane and have worked across the NT for the past 8 years. When I worked as an Early Childhood Teacher, I discovered my interest as a mentor to support students completing their studies and placements. I find joy when I get to see students complete  courses for their own development. I'm also very passionate about reflecting upon our pedagogical practices with learning theories.

Rowe Training created the opportunity for me  start in student support. Then after learning from on the job and studies I completed my Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and was then given the role of Trainer and Assessor.  On returning to work after my first maternity leave I took up the role of Trainer/Workplacement Coordinator. Then onto Training Coordinator.

We value each individual student and are proud of our flexible approach, focusing on workplace coaching and training. I look forward to supporting all the new students through to Graduation.

In 2019, I moved to Darwin where I had the amazing chance to work as an Early Childhood Teacher at a large Early Learning Centre where my skills and qualifications enable me to support and work alongside other terrific teachers, educators, and trainees.

This experience provided me with the knowledge and skills for me to move forward into the training sector with Rowe Training and Consulting. Here I have a supportive team that created a position for me to provide training and support individually to each of the Trainees to enable them to reach their goals in their career and learning journey. I look forward to developing relationships with each student and their teams at their Centres/Services.

DANA FINK

Student Wellbeing Coordinator

Online study can be challenging in ways such as feeling disconnected from other students, internet issues, staying motivated, physical and mental health issues, self-doubt (I can’t do this), family and work pressures.

To overcome some of these concerns I can help you develop a study plan to keep you motivated, we can discuss different ways of studying using the online learning system, so you don’t miss important information. I can also work with yourself and your trainer if there are any specific concerns about your assessments.

You can also talk to me about any other concerns you may have that impacts your study.

You can contact me on

ALISHA BABBINI

Student Support

Before working in Training I had been working in the Education and Care sector for 10 years, starting as young as 16. Coming from a large family and being the oldest, I knew that I had a love for caring for children. I started my learning journey into child care while still at school, I had inquired at Charles Darwin University to study the Certificate III. They responded back to me and shared that I was able to study the course when I had finished my year 10 schooling.

Which is exactly what I had done, I completed my certificate III and found myself a centre that nurtured, supported and strives for me to do my best in my career. Right after I finished my certificate, I was keen to complete my Diploma. I was lucky to continue to be supported in my learning journey by enrolling at Rowe Training and Consulting. Once I had finished my Diploma, I continued to work at the same centre, providing quality education and care for the children and built strong partnerships with the families. I have worked alongside many students in my career, providing them my extensive knowledge during their learning and providing a supportive, fun environment for them to feel confident in working with children in a child care setting. Overtime, I have learnt that I enjoy working with students to complete their placement and show them how special and rewarding it is to work in child care. Now I have been provided the opportunity to work at Rowe Training and Consulting with an amazing supportive team as I learn the ins and outs of supporting students from the Training sector. I have a strong belief that with individual support from both the child care setting and training organization, they can create confident and knowledgeable educators, which will then provide quality education and care for our future leaders.
