Want to join a great profession, like to keep active, sing, dance, paint and read stories? This is an entry level qualification, for those who want to be an "Educator" and support children in their learning and development. Sense of humour a must!

This qualification covers workers who use organisation policies, procedures and individual children’s profiles to plan activities and provide care to children, facilitating their leisure and play and enabling them to achieve their developmental outcomes. Depending on the setting educators may work under direct supervision or autonomously.

There are 15 core and 3 elective units. You must complete all core and elective units successfully to achieve the qualification. 

Upon successful completion of all of the 18 units, you will receive your qualification.

To enrol in the Certificate III it is envisaged that all students will hold Year 10 level passes or equivalent, please enquire with your training supervisor on enrolment if you have not passed Year 10 as you may require learner support.

You can enrol at anytime during the year and start your traineeship immediately.
