In 2010 RTC will be offering the new courses to Children's Services Employee's from the CHCO8 Community Services Training Package.
- CHC30708 Certificate III in Children's Services
- CHC50908 Diploma of Children's Services (Early Childhood Education and Care)
After considerable consultation with clients we have tailored the courses to meet client's needs. Elective units were chosen with careful consideration of workplace requirements.
We have customised the course recognizing that all of the students are working in Children's Services and take into account on the job learning and assessment options.
Most of the students are Trainee's see the Australian Apprenticeships website for further details on how to become a trainee.
All our programs are flexibly delivered, this means that the student learning may be through completing self paced study, classroom delivery, and workplace training and coaching.

There are staff shortages for Directors/Coordinators in Family and Children's Services including Outside School Hours Care Programs, Early Learning Centre's, and Playgroup and Parenting programs. The Advanced Diploma and if you wish to train in any of these areas the Certificate IV in TAA are aimed at these job roles.
